We have been operating for 20 years, and have an unparalleled network of successful, seasoned entrepreneurs who are deeply engaged and committed to giving back to the community by providing mentorship, tactical advice, and expertise to rising entrepreneurs.
Founded by entrepreneurs who immigrated from the Indus region, we are uniquely positioned to champion inclusion in the innovation ecosystem, and welcome innovators and enthusiasts from all backgrounds.
Today, TiE is the world’s largest not-for-profit network dedicated to helping startups grow. In 25 years the TiE Network has reached 12,000 members across 18 countries and contributed to $250B in wealth creation. TiE Chapters around the world have become a vibrant platform for entrepreneurs, professionals, industry leaders, and investors to interact with one another & forge long-lasting relationships.
HOW WE DO IT
The foremost and most widely known event that TiE Boston hosts is StartupCON, which is the largest conference of its kind in New England. TiE Boston also hosts a wide range of events and programs, including TiE Boston Angels, our ScaleUp accelerator, and the Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) program.
TiE Boston was founded in 1997 by its first President, Desh Deshpande, and a group of 12 successful entrepreneurs, corporate executives, and senior professionals with roots in the Indus region. The first TiE chapter was founded in 1992 in Silicon Valley by a group of successful entrepreneurs, corporate executives, & senior professionals.
Today there are over 60 TiE chapters worldwide.
