Digital Home Part 1: Connected devices
The ‘digital home’, in which all devices are connected to one another, promises to change the way things work in every home. An iPodlike device that plays songs on your home theater system, broadcasts slideshow, internet content and TV, is just around the corner. This is making several existing devices obsolete and changing the habits of every household while increasing the ‘generation gap’.
In this first part of two part series brought to you be TIE Semiconductor and Electronics Devices forum, the focus is on consumer electronics devices and how the connectedness is changing the industry.
